Review Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR Camera Introduction:
Fujifilm introduces the premium, compact FinePix F900EXR digital compact camera that features a new Intelligent Hybrid with Wi-Fi functionality. The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR camera automatically switches between Phase Detection AF and Contrast Detection AF depending on the subject and scene, guaranteeing superb ease-of-use and fast, accurate autofocus no matter what the setting or shooting conditions. The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR digital camera also has an improved Wireless Image Transfer function that allows users to quickly and easily upload pictures and videos to their Apple or Android smartphone. The Fujifilm F900EXR uses its EXR-CMOS 2 image sensor to capture full HD video at a smooth 60 frames per second with improved Phase Detection AF with superior color reproduction. Movie recording can be started with a single press of the dedicated 'Movie Recording Button' and records high-quality sound using the built-in stereo microphone. The Intelligent Hybrid AF system is active during movie recording for fast, precise focus. The Fuji camera also offers a Scene Recognition for movie recording feature that automatically adjusts camera settings for landscapes, close-ups, night landscapes, portraits, backlit portraits, and night portraits for high-quality, hassle-free results with a variety of subjects.

The FinePix F900EXR features a 1/2” 16MP EXR-CMOS II sensor that delivers superior image quality and performance - especially in low light situations. The Wi-Fi camera also uses the bright and fast FUJINON 20x wide-angle long-zoom lens that produces exceptional photographs, along with an Intelligent Digital Zoom feature that effectively doubles zoom capability and an large 3-inch high contrast 920.000 dot resolution LCD. The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR Battery Charger continues the tradition of superior photo quality that the FinePix F-Series is known for with its speed, bright lens, intuitive use and advanced features. The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR digital camera uses the FUJINON 20x Super wide-angle optical zoom lens to produces crisp high resolution results throughout the focal range, from 25mm wide-angle to 500mm telephoto, along with a Macro Mode that allow sharp focusing down to 1.9-inch delivering the most brilliant detail possible. The F900EXR has a bright, premium 3-inch, 920K-dot LCD monitor with a Monitor Sunlight mode for enhanced viewing in bright sunlight and at wider viewing angels. The Fujifilm camera also lets users assign frequently-used options to the new “E-fn” or extended function button for enhanced ease of use.
Power comes from an NP-50A lithium ion rechargeable battery pack Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR Camera Charger. Fujifilm says that the FinePix F900EXR is capable of shooting 260 shots on a charge, to CIPA testing standards. As per its predecessor, the F900EXR also includes wireless image transfer, a feature that enables Wi-Fi transmission of stills and movie clips between camera and computer, iPhone, iPad and Android devices. It may or may not be the be all and end all sell, it's not full-blown Wi-Fi connectivity from camera but it can have its uses.
The Fuji FinePix F900 also includes a built-in Wi-Fi radio, allowing you to connect to wireless networks or the hotspot of your Apple or Android smart device, and transfer images and movies. Once they're off the camera, you can use the data connectivity of the smart device to share images on social networking sites. Fuji offers a free application for both Apple's iOS and Google's Android that lets you transfer batches of up to 30 images at a time from the camera. The Fujifilm PC AutoSave app for Windows, meanwhile, automatically backs the Fujifilm FinePix Camera Charger up to your PC whenever Wi-Fi is connected.
Available from April and priced £280 the FinePix F900EXR may look much the same as its predecessor, and by and large it is, apart for some incremental steps on its inside. We like it, but we're still waiting for that optical image stabilizations system - that's what's missing.
